We are located in 7445 Allen Road, Suite 200 Allen Park, MI 48101

Yes. Free parking is available for patients and visitors at our office for your convenience.

Prescription refill requests can typically be made through our patient portal, by contacting your pharmacy directly, or by calling our office during business hours. Please allow adequate time for processing, especially for medications that may require provider review or follow-up appointments.
How quickly will I receive test results?
Many test results are available within a few days, though timing can vary depending on the type of testing performed. Our office will contact you with important results, and many results may also be available through the patient portal. We are happy to answer questions and review results with you in detail.

Annual & Preventive Care
How often should I have a well-woman exam?
We recommend yearly well-woman exams, even if you are feeling healthy. These visits are an important opportunity to discuss your overall health, address any concerns, review screenings, and focus on prevention. Every patient is different, and we tailor care to your individual needs, stage of life, and personal goals.
When should I start getting Pap smears?
Most patients should begin Pap smear screening at age 21. The timing and frequency after that depend on your age, medical history, and previous results. During your visit, we’ll explain your screening schedule clearly and make sure you feel informed and comfortable every step of the way.
Do I still need annual exams if my Pap smear is normal?
Yes. Even with a normal Pap smear, annual exams remain an important part of staying healthy. Your yearly visit allows us to monitor changes in your health, discuss menstrual concerns, menopause, contraception, sexual wellness, breast health, and more. Preventive care is about much more than just a Pap test.
What breast cancer screenings do you recommend?
We follow current evidence-based guidelines while also personalizing recommendations based on your age, family history, and risk factors. Screening mammograms are typically recommended starting at age 40 for average-risk patients, though some patients may benefit from earlier or additional screening. We are here to help guide you through your options and answer any questions you may have.
Do you provide birth control counseling?
Absolutely. We believe birth control should be personalized to fit your lifestyle, health needs, and future plans. We take time to discuss all available options — including pills, IUDs, implants, injections, patches, rings, and permanent contraception — so you can make the choice that feels right for you without pressure or judgment.
What vaccines are recommended for women’s health?
Vaccines are an important part of preventive care and protecting long-term health. Depending on your age and medical history, we may recommend vaccines such as HPV, flu, Tdap, COVID-19, shingles, RSV, or others. We are happy to review your vaccine history and help you stay up to date with the latest recommendations.
Pregnancy & Obstetric Care
When should I schedule my first prenatal visit?
We recommend scheduling your first prenatal visit as soon as you find out you are pregnant. Most first appointments take place around 8–10 weeks of pregnancy, though we may see you sooner depending on your symptoms or medical history. Early prenatal care helps ensure a healthy start for both you and your baby.
What can I expect at prenatal appointments?
Prenatal visits are designed to support you throughout every stage of pregnancy. We monitor your health and your baby’s growth, review symptoms, answer questions, discuss testing options, and provide guidance on nutrition, exercise, and what to expect as your pregnancy progresses. Our goal is to make you feel informed, supported, and cared for at every visit.
Do you care for high-risk pregnancies?
Yes. We care for many patients with high-risk pregnancies, including those with hypertension, diabetes, multiple gestation, prior pregnancy complications, advanced maternal age, and other medical concerns. When needed, we work closely with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to provide comprehensive, coordinated care for both mother and baby.
Which ultrasounds are performed during pregnancy?
Common ultrasounds during pregnancy include early dating ultrasounds, anatomy scans around 20 weeks, growth ultrasounds, and additional imaging when medically indicated. Every pregnancy is unique, and we tailor ultrasound recommendations based on your individual needs and clinical situation.
What genetic testing options are available?
We offer a variety of prenatal genetic screening and testing options, including carrier screening and noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT). Additional testing may also be available depending on your history and preferences. We take time to explain each option clearly so you can make informed decisions that feel right for you and your family.
How do I know when to go to the hospital in labor?
You should contact us or go to the hospital if you are having regular painful contractions (every 7-10min), think your water has broken, experience vaginal bleeding, notice decreased fetal movement, or have concerns about your symptoms. We provide guidance throughout pregnancy so you know what to expect and when to seek care.
What hospitals do you deliver at?
Our providers deliver at Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital with access to modern labor and delivery services, operating rooms, anesthesia, and neonatal care. We can delivery babies of any gestational age. We are happy to discuss delivery location, hospital amenities, and what you can expect during your birth experience.
Do you support vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC)?
Yes, select patients may be candidates for a VBAC depending on their medical history and prior delivery history. We believe in shared decision-making and will discuss the benefits, risks, and safest options for you and your baby.
What happens if I need a cesarean delivery?
If a cesarean delivery becomes necessary, our team will guide you through the process with compassion and clear communication. Your safety and your baby’s safety are always our top priorities. We will explain what to expect before, during, and after surgery and support you throughout your recovery.
Can my partner or support person attend visits and delivery?
Absolutely. We encourage supportive partners, spouses, family members, or other support persons to be involved in your pregnancy and birth experience whenever possible. Policies may vary slightly depending on the hospital or current guidelines.
What postpartum care do you provide?
Postpartum care is an important part of your recovery and overall well-being. We provide follow-up care after delivery to support physical healing, emotional health, breastfeeding concerns, contraception planning, and adjustment to life with a new baby. Our team is here to care for you long after delivery day.
Gynecology
What causes irregular periods?
Irregular periods can happen for many reasons, including stress, weight changes, thyroid conditions, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), hormonal imbalances, perimenopause, or other medical conditions. Occasional cycle changes can be normal, but persistent irregular bleeding should be evaluated so we can identify the cause and recommend the best treatment for you.
When should I be concerned about pelvic pain?
Pelvic pain should be evaluated if it is severe, persistent, worsening, or interfering with your daily life. Pain may be related to conditions such as ovarian cysts, endometriosis, fibroids, infections, or other gynecologic concerns. We take pelvic pain seriously and work closely with patients to find answers and provide relief.
How do I know if I have a yeast infection or UTI?
Yeast infections and urinary tract infections can sometimes cause similar symptoms, but they are treated differently. Yeast infections often cause itching, irritation, and discharge, while UTIs more commonly cause burning with urination, urinary urgency, or pelvic pressure. If you are unsure what is causing your symptoms, we can evaluate you and recommend the appropriate treatment.
What treatments are available for endometriosis?
Treatment for endometriosis depends on your symptoms, goals, and severity of disease. Options may include medication, hormonal therapy, pain management, or minimally invasive surgery. We work with each patient individually to create a treatment plan focused on improving quality of life and long-term symptom relief.
Do you treat menopause symptoms?
Yes. We help patients manage a wide range of menopause and perimenopause symptoms, including hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, sleep concerns, vaginal dryness, and low libido. Treatment options may include lifestyle changes, nonhormonal therapies, or hormone replacement therapy when appropriate. Our goal is to help you feel healthy, comfortable, and supported during this transition.
What options are available for heavy menstrual bleeding?
Heavy periods can have many causes, including fibroids, hormonal changes, polyps, adenomyosis, or other conditions. Treatment options may include medication, hormonal therapy, IUDs, minimally invasive procedures, or surgery depending on your needs and goals. We take time to discuss all available options and create a personalized treatment plan.
When should I see an OBGYN for fertility concerns?
If you have been trying to conceive for one year without success — or for six months if you are over age 35 — it is a good idea to schedule an evaluation. Patients with irregular cycles, known medical conditions, or prior pregnancy concerns may benefit from earlier evaluation. We can begin a fertility workup and guide you through the next steps with compassion and support.
Do you perform minimally invasive surgery?
Yes. We offer minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic procedures when appropriate. These approaches often allow for smaller incisions, less pain, faster recovery, and quicker return to normal activities. We are committed to providing individualized surgical care using the safest and most effective techniques available.
Birth Control & Family Planning
What birth control options do you offer?
We offer a full range of birth control options, including pills, patches, vaginal rings, injections, IUDs, Nexplanon implants, barrier methods, and permanent contraception. During your visit, we take time to discuss the benefits, side effects, effectiveness, and convenience of each option so you can choose what works best for your lifestyle and goals.
How do I choose the best birth control for me?
The best birth control method depends on your health history, lifestyle, future pregnancy plans, menstrual symptoms, and personal preferences. Some patients prioritize convenience, while others focus on cycle control, hormone-free options, or long-term protection. We believe in shared decision-making and will help guide you toward an option that feels right for you.
Do you insert and remove IUDs and Nexplanon?
Yes. We provide both insertion and removal of IUDs and Nexplanon in the office depending on insurance. Before your procedure, we will review the process, answer your questions, and discuss what to expect so you feel comfortable and informed.
What should I expect after IUD placement?
It is common to experience mild cramping or spotting for a few days after IUD placement. Some patients also notice temporary changes in their menstrual cycle as the body adjusts. Most patients are able to return to normal activities the same day. We will provide detailed aftercare instructions and let you know when to contact us with concerns.
Can I get pregnant immediately after stopping birth control?
Fertility can return very quickly after stopping most forms of birth control, sometimes within the first cycle. However, it may take longer for some patients depending on the method used and individual factors. If you are planning pregnancy, we are happy to discuss preconception care and ways to support a healthy pregnancy from the start.
Menopause & Hormone Care
What are common symptoms of menopause?
Menopause symptoms can vary from person to person but often include hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, sleep disturbances, vaginal dryness, decreased libido, and changes in menstrual cycles. Some patients also notice brain fog, fatigue, or weight changes. We take time to listen to your concerns and create a personalized treatment plan to help you feel your best.
Is hormone replacement therapy safe?
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) can be a safe and effective option for many patients, especially when individualized based on your health history, symptoms, and goals. We carefully review the benefits and risks with each patient and work together to determine the safest and most appropriate treatment approach.
What non-hormonal options are available for menopause symptoms?
There are several non-hormonal treatments available for menopause symptoms, including lifestyle changes, dietary adjustments, prescription medications, supplements, and vaginal moisturizers or lubricants. Treatment depends on your symptoms and preferences, and we are happy to discuss all available options to find what works best for you.
How can I improve vaginal dryness or discomfort?
Vaginal dryness and discomfort are common and treatable. Options may include vaginal moisturizers, lubricants, low-dose vaginal estrogen therapy, or other treatments depending on your symptoms and medical history. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable, healthy, and confident while improving quality of life and intimacy.
Patient Comfort & Inclusivity
Do you provide LGBTQIA+ inclusive care?
Yes. We are committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and inclusive care for all patients. We strive to create a welcoming environment where every patient feels heard, supported, and comfortable discussing their health concerns and goals without judgment.
Can I request a female provider?
Can I request a female provider? Absolutely. Patient comfort is very important to us, and we will do our best to accommodate provider preferences whenever possible. It is important to note however for obstetric care it may not be possible to guarantee a female provider due to coverage restraints and if this is important to you another practice may suit your needs better.
What if I feel nervous about my exam?
Feeling nervous about a gynecologic exam is very common. Our team is committed to creating a comfortable and supportive experience by taking time to explain each step, answer questions, and move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Your comfort, trust, and dignity always matter to us.
Are interpreters available?
Yes. Interpreter services are available to help ensure clear communication and high-quality care for patients who prefer a language other than English.
Do you welcome adolescents and first-time gynecology patients?
Absolutely. We enjoy caring for adolescents and first-time gynecology patients and understand that these visits can feel intimidating. Our team focuses on education, comfort, and creating a positive experience where patients feel safe asking questions and learning about their health.
Surgery & Procedures
What procedures are performed in-office?
We offer a variety of in-office procedures for patient convenience and comfort, including Pap smears, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal, office hysteroscopy, and other gynecologic evaluations and treatments. Our goal is to provide efficient, compassionate care in a comfortable setting whenever possible.
What surgeries do you perform?
We perform a wide range of gynecologic surgeries, including hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian cyst removal, treatment of endometriosis, prolapse procedures, sterilization procedures, and other minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries. Every surgical plan is individualized based on your symptoms, goals, and overall health.
What is recovery like after gynecologic surgery?
Recovery depends on the type of procedure performed, but many minimally invasive surgeries allow for less pain, smaller incisions, and a faster return to normal activities. We provide detailed preoperative and postoperative instructions, closely monitor your recovery, and remain available to answer questions and support you throughout the healing process.
Do you offer minimally invasive or robotic surgery?
Yes. Interpreter services are available to help ensure clear communication and high-quality care for patients who prefer a language other than English.
